That is, until 2020. Then Democrats will look back fondly on Trump as they slander the 2020 Republican nominee.

They almost always have nice things to say about Republicans--even conservative Republicans--at least until they receive the party's nomination for President. Payne only covers our most recent elections, but this play goes back as far as Barry Goldwater.
